Carlos is a leader in the e-commerce, web3 and fintech verticals, with a strategic mindset and broad operational experience. He has gone from the consulting sector (PwC, Accenture) in Europe and LATAM, to being the COO of Lazada Group (Alibaba) and recently co-founding Unlockd, a lending protocol that allows NFTs to be used as collateral, allowing democratized NFT liquidity and utility for gaming, art, metaverse, DeFi and real-world assets.
He started learning about NFTs and play-to-earn in 2020 and has experience running a guild with over 90 scholars and more than 40 investments. Seeing an opportunity to disrupt the NFT lending industry and particularly guild and investment DAO financing, he launched Unlockd together with his co-founder, Jorge Schnura.
